Rosa Kang, MSW, LGSW

Perinatal Behavioral Associate

Rosa Kang, MSW, LGSW, joined the Developing Brain Institute (DBI) in April 2023 as a Perinatal Behavioral Associate on the Mommy&Me team. Rosa received her master’s degree in Social Work from University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in Global Health and International Affairs from Georgetown University. She is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker with over seven years of experience in social services, working with perinatal populations, single mothers, adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders, veterans, and unhoused populations. Rosa has worked in various clinical, case management and supervisory roles within community mental health, housing services and hospital settings. Her most recent clinical role involved providing psychosocial support to perinatal patients and their families throughout their hospital stays from antepartum to postpartum periods as well as in the neonatal intensive care unit. She is passionate about maternal mental health and is excited to support perinatal participants through her role on the Mommy&Me team.
