Operations Manager

Kyle Donnellan, BS, joined the Developing Brain Institute (DBI) at Children’s National as Operations Manager in July 2023. Kyle manages the team’s pre- and post-award grant activities, working directly with DBI’s Director of Operations, Geraldine Pluviose, MBA; the Director & Chief, Catherine Limperopoulos, Ph.D.; and Clinical Director of Research, Nickie Andescavage, M.D. He is responsible for the ongoing daily operations of Dr. Limperopoulos’ grants portfolio and works to ensure financial and administrative compliance for each grant.

Prior to joining DBI, Kyle worked with the Institute in Children’s National Hospital’s Grants & Contracts Administration & Finance department as Lead Grants & Finance Administrator. He and the DBI core team worked on pre- and post-award grant activities covering grants and gifts across Children’s Center for Neuroscience and Behavioral Medicine. After many years working collaboratively with DBI and seeing firsthand the impact of their research, Kyle is eager to join the Institute to provide more direct, increased support to enhance the lab’s overall success.
