Keren Kim, MSN, RN, CPN, Research Nurse Coordinator, joined the Developing Brain Institute at Children’s National in January 2021. At the Developing Brain Institute, Keren focuses on participant enrollment, data collection, and coordination of fetal and neonatal MRIs. Keren began her career in behavioral therapy by providing applied behavioral analysis therapy to children with autism, followed by caring for the complex needs of children with cardiac and renal conditions as a bedside nurse at Children’s National Hospital. She continued her nursing career by working as an Ambulatory Nurse Coordinator for patients of all ages. She was also a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland (UM) School of Nursing. Keren completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at UM, Baltimore County, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Clinical Nurse Leader from the UM School of Nursing. With her extensive experience, she has developed a well-rounded understanding of the healthcare system and believes that evidence-based care is the cornerstone in improving the quality of patient care.
