Christina Mastracchio, BS, joined the Developing Brain Institute (DBI) as a Research Assistant in April 2023. Prior to joining DBI, Christina attended Villanova University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience. Since graduation, she has worked as a Fellow in the ORISE Research Participation Program at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health, specifically with neurological devices. During that time, she gained a wealth of knowledge in neuroscience research, particularly in neuroimaging. Christina always has had a passion for neurodevelopment and the factors that can affect perinatal brain development. She is excited to apply her experience and passion to aid in DBI’s ongoing, innovative research.
