Prior to receiving her master’s degree, she spent several years working as a medical assistant for an allergy and immunology clinic located in Austin, Texas. Through her diverse training, she developed a passion for researching the intersections of physical and mental health, especially among minority groups and vulnerable populations. She will play a key role in serving as a liaison between several Children’s National Hospital departments to assist with participant enrollment, data collection and study management for fetal and neonatal MRI studies. Annice is very excited to contribute to DBI’s overarching mission and hopes to promote research that highlights the interplay between physical health and mental/behavioral health outcomes.
