Manouchka Jean-Gilles is the Academic Program Analyst for the Advanced Pediatric Brain Imaging Research Laboratory. She holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in English from the University of New Hampshire. Her role is to support academic projects such as manuscript and grant submission, organizing academic seminars, guest lectures and conferences, and assisting with academic newsletters, annual reports and PR projects.
Prior to joining Children’s National, Manouchka worked as an Adjunct Instructor of American Studies and taught undergraduates at the University of Maryland College Park and Baltimore County. She has a Student Support Services background in Supplemental Instruction and College Study Skills and was a CrISP Research Fellow at the Consortium on Race, Gender & Ethnicity.
